Big Test Trainer — Privacy Policy

Big Test Trainer collects the following categories of data: identifiers, content. Perfect Ship LLC uses this data only to operate the app.

Big Test Trainer keeps a record for each student in a database on its server, not only on your device. That record holds: the username and password hash used to sign in; the student's name; the study track (SAT, PSAT 10, or PSAT 8-9); a timezone; a goal score; baseline total, reading-and-writing and math scores; the test date; and the weekly study hours and rest days used to build the plan.

It also stores the study history the app is built around: every practice attempt (the question, the answer chosen, whether it was correct, time taken, and any confidence or "why I missed it" note you add), the generated plan days and their status, practice tests and their scores, milestones earned, and a spaced-repetition review queue of skills to resurface. Your interface, practice and notification preferences are stored the same way. If you turn on study reminders, the browser push subscription for your device — its endpoint and keys — is stored so a reminder can be delivered.

This data is used to run the app for that student: to sign them in, generate and reflow their study plan, choose questions, show their results, and send the reminders they asked for. Perfect Ship LLC does not sell it, does not use it for advertising, and runs no analytics, telemetry, or third-party tracking in the app.

One feature sends data off the server. If the optional in-app tutor is enabled, the messages you type to it and the student's first name are sent to the AI provider that generates the reply, and the reply is sent back. Tutor conversations are not written to the database. If the tutor is not enabled, nothing is sent.

To have a student's account and every record above permanently deleted, email support@theperfectship.com from the address you use to reach us, or see the account deletion page linked from this app's support page. A parent or guardian may make that request on a student's behalf.
